Queer Asian American

I am a Queer Asian American. I am currently writing this but am not completely out of the closet at the moment. I noticed as a medium.com writer that there is a lack of queer writers, especially Queer Asian American writers on medium and in mainstream America at the moment.

I have decided to write this article without doing edits on my first post mostly because this is the first essay that I have decided to post on Medium.com. I love Medium.com so far and I hop on here everyday and see very thought provoking articles about America. I choose not to reveal at the moment too much about my personal identity other than where I am from, which is the San Francisco Bay Area. I do not represent all of Queer Asian America, and my writing is just one voice out of many voices you can find in Medium.com. I have recently become very interested in representation on television and the media, especially Queer and Asian representation, which is something that I am currently interested in writing about and sharing, if possible. Perhaps I will also share more about who I am as time goes on. I hope to find an audience here on Medium.com. Thank you!
