Week 1

This is the beginning of my Medium write up. Started my Clinical Education Program this week in NUH in pediatric rehab department. Here with my other four friends. Lots of new things that I learnt from the OTs here. Grateful and blessed to get the opportunity to attend 2-days DIRFloortime workshop. Kudos to my Clinical Educator. Weekends was great to be able to go Seremban/Nilai for my cousins- Afiq and Faiqah- wedding. Happy to attend the ceremony and provide some helping hands during the event. Met Paan, Hafizzol and Fudhail on the same day. Thanks to Paan for fetching me early morning to pray subuh and breakfast together. Thanks to Hafizzol for spending some time with me for a mouthwatering chendol at Mydin Nilai (the best in the world). Love the breakfast place — Nasi Lemak Tetek. A place where all races eat together in one table to enjoy the food in harmony. The atmosphere makes me happy — cheap, clean, peaceful, reflective.

Revising Al-Mulk and Al-Waqiah.

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

I requested the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to teach me a supplication which I could recite in my Salat (prayer). Thereupon he said, “Recite: ‘Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran, wa la yaghfirudh- dhunuba illa Anta, faghfir li maghfiratan min ‘indika, warhamni, innaka Antal-Ghafur-ur-Rahim (O Allah! I have considerably wronged myself. There is none to forgive the sins but You. So grant me pardon and have mercy on me. You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate).”’

This week no extra workout that I do else some squats before BJJ class on Wednesday evening. My body and mind are adjusting with the clinical attachment program.

Kiss of dragon, Kimura from knee on belly to armbar, Grading list- far armbar, near armbar, attacks from; mount, side control and knee on belly.

None. I do study books related to my CPE :)

None. Too busy on weekdays and weekends. Will dedicate more time for this.

Definitely, learn to be patient. During the wedding trip of my cousins I realized that there are many incidents that I can react and act better if I have a better attitude- be patient!
